Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. – November 9th, 2016 Holy Stone Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Holy Stone) (TWSE: 3026), a passive component manufacturer and an IC distributor, today announced its third quarter result of fiscal year of 2016, reporting Earnings per share of NT$ 0.58, Accumulated Consolidated Revenue of 9,719 million and Accumulated Earnings per share of NT$ 1.80. 
 

With constant product portfolio adjustment, Consolidated Revenue has finally been back on growth track. Revenue of third quarter ramped up to 3,543 million, up 0.91% from last year. Gross margin rate maintained at a decent level with 14.30% even with the impact from appreciation of TWD/USD, up 1.32% on a QoQ basis. Operating Margin increased to 3.29%, Net Income increased by 22.20% from last quarter to 99 million, and Earnings per share reached NT$ 0.58. 
 

In terms of 3rd quarter Revenue breakdown by product, 37% goes to active components, down 9% from last year; 25% to passive components, up 8% from last year; 20% to system and module, up 21% from last year; 18% to others, up 5% from last year. As for breakdown by application, 40% goes to communication, down 6% on a YoY basis; 9% to consumer electronics, up 5% on a YoY basis; 17% to computer, up 15% on a YoY basis; 32% to automotive and industrial electronics, up 15% on a YoY basis. 
 

Demands from communication industry will remain majoity for Q4. With acquisition of ISO/TS16949 certification, we should be seeing increase in orders for automotive and industrial use in the nex quarter.
