Employee Welfare

(1) The company stipulated reasonable systems and policies for employee compensation and benefits. Company dividends are also given to the employees in accordance with both the company’s performances and employees’ performances, this is to share the operational results of the company with out employees. Employees compensation are distributed in accordance to the company’s Article of Association, and is calculated on no less than 7% of the company’s profit of the current year. 

 

(2) The company offers regulated holidays such as: marriage leave, funeral leave, maternity leave, paternity leave, family care leave, annual leave, physiological leave, sickness leave, occupational sickness leaves and personal leaves etc.; employees are free to tale relevant leaves.

 

(3) The company offers regular health check-ups, childcare grants, hands out cash gifts and vouchers for holidays, birthdays, weddings, childbirths, hospitalizes as well as subsidiaries for employee trips, social club activities and special discount stores. The company also launches various art activities and charity to improve and enhance employee cohesion.

 

(4) In order to fulfill a sustainable and inclusive economic growth, the company provides Equal Pay for Equal Work and equal opportunities for promotion regardless of employees’ gender. 2023 average female employee ratio is 55.96%; average female senior manager is 48.4%. 

 

Employee Rights and Wellness

i. Forced and child labor are prohibited. Workers are free to leave upon reasonable notice. Workers under the age of 18 shall not perform hazardous work, and the Company conforms to the local restriction of evening shifts.

 

ii. Holy Stone adopts the Equal Employment Opportunity Rules; any employee or applicant shall not be discriminated against on the basis of sex, age, race, religion, color, nationality, mental/physical disorder or other factors. The workforce shall be free of harassment and unlawful discrimination.

 

iii. Compensation paid to workers shall comply with all applicable wage laws and local practices to ensure human rights and employee benefits. This includes those related to minimum wage, overtime hour, etc.

 

iv. In order to ensure the health and safety of the workplace, the company conducts occupational safety and health education and emergency response training courses for employees to strengthen employees’ safety awareness and resilience. The company arranges health checks, promotes health concepts and improves employees’ awareness of self-health management. In accordance to the Occupational Safety and Health Act, occupational health and safety personnel are assigned to conduct safety inspections of the working environment, advocate the importance of occupational safety. Every employee and management team set self-expectations for “Zero Accidents.”

 

v. To encourage employees focus on working with no worries behind, both retirement applications and giving standard comply with the Labor Standards Act and Labor Pension Act, also follow the policies of declaration on withholding pension to Bank of Taiwan or pension account owned by each employee.

 

vi. The achievements of corporate goals rely on each employee’s effort. Under such circumstances, employees and management are able to perform their specialty. Consequently, the relationship between employees and management plays an important role for the Company. As of today, there is no dispute between employees and the management.
